I haven’t blogged in a long time. It is a little ironic to me that the last time that I did post, we were officially in Covid life and, weeks and weeks later…we still are.
For the most part, life has been boring. But, I’m not complaining as one alternative to boring could be illness so, yeah, I’ll take it.
We have had a couple interesting things happen, though!
We went back to homeschooling!
Not the exhausting virtual schooling life but actual homeschool.
This was a relief because after only a few weeks of virtual, I was on the verge of insanity. (I’m fairly confident that some of you can relate!) Overall, it’s going well.
And we bought a house!
After a little over a year of living in my late parents’ house/my childhood home, we were able to close on the house. I owned a third of it with my sisters after losing our mom. But, Brian and I needed some time to get our financial ducks in a row. And we did! So, after years of renting, Brian and I are finally homeowners!
And last, but not necessarily least, haha, Brian and I have become Hamilton fanatics. Thanks, Disney Plus! We have been watching it or listening to it on the daily, ever since they released it. Sadly, our kids don’t share our obsession so there are many complaints when I sing. To be fair, that probably would be the case no matter what I sang. It also turns out that our obsession has led to some costume ideas… 🙂
That’s all I’ve got for now. Hopefully, I can come up with some material because I sure miss blogging. But, for now, happy Sunday!
