Happy Saturday! And welcome to the #weekendcoffeeshare hosted by Natalie the Explorer
This week has been consumed with filming. Brian has really put together a good group of super talented people. It is amazing how committed these people have been to basically a passion project. If we make money, they make money but there are no guarantees. Having said that. I think it’s gonna be a hit!

Back To Work
I have made the difficult decision to go back to work full-time which means that any time am not thinking about the movie; my mind has been consumed with is scouring indeed, updating my resume and coming to terms with the idea of saying goodbye to having some afternoons off.
The decision was made for financial reasons. Bills to pay and what not. Fingers crossed that I will find a good fit!
Pet Of The Week
The pet of the week is Nala! She was only a week or two when I agreed to foster her. Thankfully, she was good with the bottle and then transitioned well to solid food. That’s not always the case with the tiny kittens.

The person who found her told me that they would like to adopt her when she was ready, I tried really hard to keep the mindset of giving her up but it didn’t take me long to fall madly in love with her.
She even got to take a trip to Pennsylvania!

Eventually, the lady who planned to adopt her, gave me the greatest gift and asked me if I wanted to keep her. I really, really did.
Nala is spunky as can be. From the first day, when I tried to sneak her into Walmart after picking her up. I needed to grab supplies and was afraid to leave her in the car. She meowed loudly throughout the store, creating quite the kerfuffle. To today, when she completely runs the house. She loves to play fetch, comes when she is called (if she feels like it) and will help herself to any food that she wants. She is the princess. (Case in point, as I was writing this, my son texted to say that he found a box of donuts on the floor with Nala hovering over them. 🤣)

Hope all is well with everyone! What are you up to today?

Good luck with your job search. Now that I’m retired, I can see the advantages of work. In addition to the $$, there is a sense that working full time makes you enjoy your time off that much more. I’m hoping your new job is one that will give you interesting things to think about.

It’s funny, I think I could happily never work but you have a good point! Thank you! ❤️

Hi Emily, Fun stuff.
Our kids made movies too but their efforts were never meant to be shared very widely. They were fun to watch and laugh at.
And pets – messy pets.
My wife and I joke about how allergies have only one good aspect – that being since we can’t keep them without congesting up – we don’t have to ever clean up after them.
Our donuts and goodies stay where ever we leave them.
So what kind of job are you looking for?

Ha! That is ironically lucky.
I want something in the non-profit world. I have years of experience with adults with disabilities so I will probably end up doing something like that again. 😁
